Update!

WOW it has been a long time since the last update. We have had a great winter here in the new house. The kids have made new friends next door and across the street. The girls are 12 and 13 so it is really great! Built in babysitters! They have also been snowmobieling and "kneeboarding" behind the snowmobile. Jeremy says that they are practicing for this summer at the cottage so the can knee board behind the boat! We will see if it works.

Haylie is loving school. She has many friends and talks about them all the time. She had her first sleep-over at her friend Leah's house a couple of weeks ago. It was a great time for both of them. She is growing into quite a young lady. She has become a real big helper around the house. Putting away laundry, cleaing her room spotless and making her own breakfast and lunches sometimes.

Hunter is excited because I told him that he is starting Pre-school in the fall. He can't wait to be a "classmate" as he calls it! Noah will be starting threes-school also. They will both be in class on Tues, and Friday afternoons. I will have two afternoons a week to myself! Well a couple of hours anyway. What a great way to get errands done, can't wait.

Noah is finally at the potty training stage. He came downstirs the other day with underwear and said that he wanted to wear them instead of pull-ups. From then on he has worn them and has been really good! Finally, no more diapers, yeah!

Please keep the DeKleine kids in your prayers. They go to our church and it has been a terrible tragedy for them, and our church. We are in quite a state of shock. Pray for our pastor, Geroge Dejonge, he is having a hard time dealing with this too. Pray for the whole family, the kids are living with aunt and uncle, pray for adjusments for all of them.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Hey Freriks!!!! I am just finding your blog tonight-didn't know it even existed. How in the world did you find mine? I look forward to keeping up with your lives better since we don't get to see each other often. Now that you are in Zeeland, maybe more? I hope so. We would love to come see your new home. Give us a call sometime. Sarah Huizenga
