Today is Hunter's 5th birthday. I cannot believe he is that old already. He has grown into one of the sweetest and caring boys I know. He will tell me in the most random times that he loves me. He will want to give us a kiss right in the middle of a church service. He will sit down for lunch or dinner and say "so, mom, how was your day?" He is the typical 5 year old though, don't get me wrong. He will not always listen unless you are looking directly into his eyes, typical boy.
He was born at 6pm and weighed in at 10lbs 3oz!!! 10 pounds!!! He was a great sleeper from the start only getting up for a little while to eat and then going back to sleep. He had a little trouble eating in his first months of life. He went to feeding therapy at DeVos for a few months. He wasn't swallowing properly and was choking on his formula. The dr. said that sometimes when babies are a big as he was they are a little "lazy". Everything turned out fine though.
We are having a Monster Truck themed birthday party tonight at Timbertown, if it doesn't rain. Pray it doesn't because Hunter is really excited.
