We have a new family member! Ella Genevieve was born on June 12 and she is the most precious thing! My brother and sister-in-law welcomed their third little girl to the world and sister's Lily and Sophia couldn't be more proud. We loved her instantly and can't wait to watch her grow up!
Haylie got glasses! I haven't had a chance to take a picture of her yet but she looks adorable! She failed her test at school in the fall and we finally went to get her tested. It took long enough...not like I WORK for an eye Dr. or anything. Anyway, we found out that she is pretty nearsighted, like a -3.00. If any of you wear contacts, you know how weak that is! Poor girl. No wonder she was getting headaches toward the end of the day, she was straining so much. She is really doing a great job with them, only lost them once! She was amazed at what she could see! She said that everything looked bigger and sharper! One down two to go. I am sure the boys will need something at one time or another. Stay tuned.
Haylie started Critter Camp this week. She is taking some classes at the Critter barn, learning how to take care of animals on the farm and learning about them in general. She LOVED it. Haylie is one that doesn't like the zoo b/c you can't actually touch the animals. She is hands on and loves to pet and hold animals. After she is done with Critter Camp she can go and volunteer at the barn at any time, helping out with the chores and animals. This will be really nice b/c we live so close, right around the corner. Stay tuned for pictures of her graduation at Critter Camp.
Fathers day was wonderful. We were at the cottage and had a great time. We made a trip to Action Water Sports earlier in the week to buy the kids their first pair of water skies. Hunter was the only one to try it. He was a pro, getting up on his second try. He loved and and we were all very proud of him.
Here are a couple of pictures from the park we went to the day Haylie got her glasses.
