Well Haylie and Hunter had their first soccer practice tonight. Both at different times at different fields! This will be our life for the next 6 weeks. Hunter at one field and Haylie at another, clear across town!
First we went to Hunters. He did great, for his first time. I am sure as we get farther in the season he will sharpen up and understand the game a little, right? Maybe not but he sure will have fun, he couldn't stop smiling. He doesn't know anyone on his team, lucky for him he makes friends fast.

Haylie is on a team with Leah Cooper. She is the daughter of one of my very good friends. She wanted to play if she could be on Leah's team. If you remember, the first year she played soccer, a couple of years ago, she wouldn't go on the field unless we were NOT watching her! She is much improved since then. She was running, kicking, and defending goal like a champ. I was a little nervous at first b/c at Hunter's practice she was trying some stuff and couldn't do a kick that she wanted to do. She ended up crying and saying that she didn't want to play, Uh OH, here we go again. But once we got to her practice she was all about it. She was very happy and it is going to be a great season.

Welcome to the crazy life of sports and driving kids all over the place! They are so fun to watch, especially the first year of soccer when they really don't know what they are doing! So cute!
